Concordia Moot Law Society

The Concordia Moot Law Society is an organization that provides practical legal experience to the undergraduate pre-law community at Concordia University. As a competitive team, the CMLS sends delegations to moot tournaments that draw schools from across Canada. These competitions are mock courtroom scenarios, in which students will act as lawyers arguing a case in the Supreme Court. Mooting is a great way to improve on public speaking, critical thinking, and the basics of legal knowledge. It is one of the only organizations at Concordia that gives students practical legal experience and an opportunity to get hands-on with the law.
