Exploring Anti-Blackness in Canada

February 26, 2021 @ 11:00 PM - February 27, 2021 @ 12:30 AM

Free

During this event, Sacha Médiné will be guiding us through difficult discussions regarding the Black experience. Through discussing the racism built in the Canadian system, this event hopes to highlight the nuances of being Black in Canada. After 2020, it’s clear that racism in Canada is prominent, and although it’s being acknowledged, we know that anti-blackness continues to exist in a new context. We’re inviting participants to share their experience, and to work towards creating a safer space for all.
