Making HERstory

Making HERstory is a social club and a movement towards changing the perception about feminism.Contrary to what many people believe, feminism is about equality and equity between genders rather than women wanting to be more dominant. We care about empowering women from different ethnic backgrounds, and cultures. One of our main goals is to give the brilliant minds of the ladies in our university a space to express and educate themselves within a supportive, guiding and loving community. We aim to establish an interactive environment through events like sports, cooking, digital illustration classes and many more to fulfill the social needs of many. Also, we care to create educational events that will benefit Concordia students such as mental health awareness, women’s rights, information sessions on various topics.
